A dream night before last combined with a verbal message at yesterday's communion with a wise old soul elder have inspired this morning's blog. The reminders of giving every day in response to life's gift of joy and breath in this body to us is a necessity. I am grateful to a roof over my head and being able to see that there is a choice to see love all around me during all situations. This is a gift received and so here, this blog is a gift to whoever reads or feels drawn here now.
The importance of a rhythm in our actions of a health ritual is what the body longs for and remembers as it's natural state of homeostasis. How to get there? Ask your body and listen with patience in silence or meditation. The body knows and will speak of all truths in that "now-moment"
Today, as my ritual to bless and honor my mind, body and soul, I begin slowly. Opening the eyes in gratitude for a wonderful night sleep with my Angels and Guides. (God ,ancestors or animal spirits) In Consideration next, wakening the body next with a few wiggles of the toes, circles with the ankles and a downward dog pose connecting with PachaMama (earth). Today I came more quickly to the kitchen, other days this stage may last longer as there is tongue scraper and water next to the bed. The cleansing of the tongue is to remove the toxins excreted from the night. The body has been resting yet systems in the body were in their natural mode of preparing organs for their next job. Each system has it's hour of duty. (more on this later-the bodies "timer")
After scraping the tongue, which can be found at any health food store or possible pharmacy, (metal or plastic. I prefer metal as it does the best job.) I drink and 8 oz. glass of room temperature or warm water. This is another assistance with flushing out more toxins. Everyone has their own needs and here now I am only sharing. (never change your morning ritual if there are medications that are prescribed for one's needs) For those of you that feel drawn to a particular action, ask your body and listen well and of course if you try something that does not yield a feel good result, please reframe from those actions. Your body always knows what is best for you. ;)
The next step in my morning is one table spoon of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar in 4 oz. of water followed after a few minutes with an 8oz. glass of water. This flushes the liver/ gallbladder and fills the body with enzymes. (I especially am prone to a deficiency) The next step I pause for at least 20 min. in meditation until returning to kitchen for a dose of diatomaceous earth. http://www.earthworkshealth.com/How-Diatomaceous-Earth-Works.php) Starting out with 1 tsp. and working up to a tbl. Personally, I am up to 2 tbl in the morning to cleanse some old debris. I remained steady and slow to get here. There were some detox symptoms in the beginning due to jumping too quickly. (more on that later) This is food grade quality by the way:) Following the DE, I flush with another 16oz. of water.
Depending on my timing and other daily plans I will do this additional step of Oil Pulling.

These rituals are intended as part of a daily morning 3-5 hour fast. The body has been empty of food all night (assuming one did not eat 3 hours before bedtime) Continuing this fast until 10am or Noon is very useful to the bodies repairs and flushing of toxins. As we approach Spring, this is essential. Fluids are important during this fast period so have your water ready the night before if any preparation needed. ( I use a crystal that has been assigned to removing fluoride and more purification when traveling without proper filtered water~ more on this ritual later) A total of 32oz of water is to be drank within the first hour of wakening.
Whether you have the time for this to be your morning ritual or an occasional detox program, keep the joy. This adds more chi to train harder for the next day~
